Individual Coaching

Beverly is a Professional Certified Coach, accredited with the International Coach Federation. She works with private clients as well as individuals via company schemes. A one to one coaching session is a confidential, skilled and focused conversation that challenge and support an individual to work out strategies that enable them to excel. Typical issues addressed include:

  • improving wellbeing through effective self-care strategies 
  • personal development such as gaining marketing, management or leadership skills
  • enhancing personal productivity and performance
  • preparation for a new job
  • transition to a more senior role
  • gearing up for a return to work
  • moving from Executive to Non-Executive Director
  • planning for a change of career or lifestyle

At its best, coaching can help unlock creativity and boost innovation as well as heighten capability and satisfaction with life and at work. Individual coaching can:

  • stimulate new ideas to solve old problems 
  • drive insight to deal successfully with fresh personal challenges 
  • improve resilience in the face of setbacks 
  • enhance interpersonal effectiveness 
  • increase confidence 

Individual coaching sessions are held at a place of agreement. Often this is at the client’s office. Beverly also offers ‘Walk and Talk’ coaching sessions to combine the stimulation of exercise with the freedom of thinking deeply away from interruptions.

A key corporate benefit of team and group coaching is the high levels of engagement that it can generate from staff. It can also help build team spirit and resilience: a quality never more needed in today’s world with its VUCA environment – volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous.

Team and group coaching presents a different dynamic to working with an individual. Each person needs to be heard. Disagreement needs to be constructively handled. Consensus and commitment need to be built. The most significant barrier that inhibits performance is human to doubt. In a group situation, doubt is contagious, and as it grips, it deepens. 

Beverly is a certified Systemic Team Coach, having qualified with the Academy of Executive Coaches. "Systemic Team Coaching is a process by which a team coach works in partnership with a whole team, in both when they are together and when they are apart, to help them both improve their collective performance and how they work together, and also how they develop their collective leadership to more effectively engage with all their key stakeholder groups to jointly transform the more extensive business and co-create value for all their stakeholders." Change management is a structured approach for ensuring that changes are thoroughly and smoothly implemented, and that the lasting benefits of change are achieved. For this to happen it is essential to provide dedicated space for management and their teams to explore issues, consider possibilities and work through the consequences and impact of their options before applying them in everyday life. Strategy and change workshops facilitated by Beverly are focused on achieving this objective.

Run over half a day, these workshops allow people to experience the power of thinking without the interruptions of technology or the distractions of other demands on their attention. With shorter follow-on sessions to cement learning and ensure accountability for agreed actions, these workshops are a collaboration that allows the team to move through the change transition process more quickly and effectively.
