Workshop: Enabling Successful Change

Date: 25 Apr 2018 | Time: 12:00 - 14:00 | Venue: London TBC

In association with the Professional Services Marketing Group (PSMG)

I am delighted to be co-running a workshop with Owen Williams, Global Head of Practices & Markets at Simmons & Simmons. The topic is: How to enable successful change.

This lunchtime event takes place in London on 25 April 2018. The workshop will encourage participants to think about what change management is, and improve awareness of what’s involved in dealing with a change initiative.

It will help individuals gain insight into what facilitates change and help them learn how to deal with the transition process, thus enabling stakeholders to move forward more quickly and effectively.

The workshop is highly interactive with participative exercises that aim to cement the theory of change management into practical takeaways that can be implemented in the workplace.

By the end of this session, each participant will have improved their understanding of change management, and be better equipped to implement the desired change.

Specifically, participants will:

  • understand why organisational change can be so difficult
  • learn about tolerance for ambiguity
  • uncover techniques to build personal resilience
  • discover how to use a model to communicate change
  • practice how to have difficult conversations on issues that can hold up change
  • deal constructively with objections and critical feedback
  • find out more, using relevant examples, about how you can implement change smoothly

"Beverly has, over many years, provided training for our members on many occasions and in particular we have engaged her services for those professionals at the most senior level within their organisations including partners. One Marketing and Business Development Director recently commented after a training course lead by Beverly ‘there was a real sense of purpose and energy in the room which was infectious. Well worth taking the time out of the office. Beverly was outstanding.’ I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Beverly for any project she is invited to undertake."

Gail Jaffa, Managing Partner, Professional Services Marketing Group

"Having worked with Beverly for a number of years, she has impressed me with her ability to be able to quickly pinpoint areas of development and to get people to recognise in themselves how they can develop and improve whilst supporting their transition.Beverly has been a breath of fresh air in her coaching methods and I have greatly enjoyed working with her. "

Nicky Acuna Ocana, Managing Director, Ambition UK

"Throughout our coaching relationship, Beverly’s thoughtful questioning and expertise have enabled me to successfully get to the root cause of real business problems and overcome barriers that were impeding the resolution of these. Her approach has helped me focus on areas where I can have the most impact, breaking down complex change projects into more achievable steps. Working with Beverly has also enabled me to benefit from her vast knowledge of tips and tools for developing better working practices, improving my efficiency and effectiveness "

Jonathan Millar, Associate Director, Saunderson House

"In just 4 sessions, Beverly has guided me firstly towards re-establishing my own foundations on what drives me as an individual. And secondly helped me to recognise my potential at work. I am so grateful to have found her. She has a gift for striking the perfect balance between being supportive yet challenging. I would recommend her to those willing to conquer their own self-limiting beliefs to achieve their goals "
