I am delighted to be a judge of Investment Week's inaugural 'Women in Investment Awards'. The Awards set out to celebrate and recognise the achievement of women in the UK's Investment Industry. The Awards also seek to inspire more women to work in what is an exciting and dynamic sector.
Why is this important? Experience tells us that deep engagement of a diverse workforce leads to innovative solutions, stronger teams and better client outcomes. Recognising the value of diversity impacts upon engagement which in turn drives productivity. Nominating someone for the 'Women in Investment Awards' expresses recognition of the value of women in this sector. What is more, it encourages an attitude of inclusion that actively seeks talent from the broadest pool.
Making a nomination is straightforward and easy to do. Do it now and spread a glow of appreciation in your workplace. The submission process is open until 4th September 2017. The Awards ceremony takes place in London on 29th November 2017.
