PSMG Full Day Masterclass: Enabling Successful Change

15th August 2017 | Beverly Landais

The pace of change has never been greater. This Masterclass entitled 'Enabling Successful Change' is presented by Beverly Landais and run in conjunction with the Professional Services Marketing Group (PSMG). It is designed to meet the needs of senior, experienced practitioners who find themselves operating in an increasingly volatile environment where the requirement to deal with change is constant.

Its purpose is to encourage participants to think about what change management is, and improve awareness of what's involved in dealing with a change initiative. It will focus on the inner journey that takes place when we face change and provide practical tips for building personal resilience during stressful times. It will also look at the tools and techniques that can assist leaders to motivate followers to embrace necessary organisational change.

The workshop is highly interactive with participative exercises that aim to cement the theory of change management into practical takeaways to implement in the workplace.

Part 1: sets out the concepts of change management, explores the psychology of change and considers the issues that have a profound impact on the success transformational initiatives.

Part 2: introduces the tools and techniques that will better prepare you to navigate personal as well as organisational change.

By the end of this session, each participant will have improved their understanding of change management, and be better equipped to plan and implement desired personal change. Specifically, participants will:

  • gain insight into how to cope with and conquer the natural human resistance to change
  • obtain an understanding of the psychology at play
  • learn how to work with the rational and emotional parts of the brain, rather than fight it.
  • uncover techniques to build a growth mindset
  • find out more about how you can implement change smoothly

"In just 4 sessions, Beverly has guided me firstly towards re-establishing my own foundations on what drives me as an individual. And secondly helped me to recognise my potential at work. I am so grateful to have found her. She has a gift for striking the perfect balance between being supportive yet challenging. I would recommend her to those willing to conquer their own self-limiting beliefs to achieve their goals "

Anish Hindocha, Lead Operational Excellence Consultant - Visa

"What I value about Beverly as a mentor is her honesty and integrity. A fantastic communicator and natural coach she provides a calm reassuring presence which encourages people to excel."

Vince Plant, Chambers Director - Devereux Chambers

"Following the presentation coaching you gave me last year, the people that run the event have asked me to chair this year’s event. They said I had good stage presence and came across as engaging and with confidence. My confidence in public speaking since working with you has been night and day. I have done a lot more speaking internally and externally and have only been a ‘normal’ level of nervous. So I wanted to say a really big thank you and share my progress. I’d recommend you to anyone needing to hone their personal impact and presentations skills."

Jo Owen, C-suite Executive

"Beverly is an exceptional coach who I've had the pleasure of seeing in action on a number of occasions. She has a warm and inclusive approach which, when wedded to her strong knowledge and insight, can drive excellent results. Beverly provides wise counsel and sound advice and guidance that is informed by many years of experience operating and managing at the highest level in professional services"

Owen Williams, Head of Practices and Markets - Simmons & Simmons
