The pace of change has never been greater. This Masterclass entitled 'Enabling Successful Change' is presented by Beverly Landais and run in conjunction with the Professional Services Marketing Group (PSMG). It is designed to meet the needs of senior, experienced practitioners who find themselves operating in an increasingly volatile environment where the requirement to deal with change is constant.
Its purpose is to encourage participants to think about what change management is, and improve awareness of what's involved in dealing with a change initiative. It will focus on the inner journey that takes place when we face change and provide practical tips for building personal resilience during stressful times. It will also look at the tools and techniques that can assist leaders to motivate followers to embrace necessary organisational change.
The workshop is highly interactive with participative exercises that aim to cement the theory of change management into practical takeaways to implement in the workplace.
Part 1: sets out the concepts of change management, explores the psychology of change and considers the issues that have a profound impact on the success transformational initiatives.
Part 2: introduces the tools and techniques that will better prepare you to navigate personal as well as organisational change.
By the end of this session, each participant will have improved their understanding of change management, and be better equipped to plan and implement desired personal change. Specifically, participants will:
- gain insight into how to cope with and conquer the natural human resistance to change
- obtain an understanding of the psychology at play
- learn how to work with the rational and emotional parts of the brain, rather than fight it.
- uncover techniques to build a growth mindset
- find out more about how you can implement change smoothly
