Official Speaker at Women Work event 20 April 2018

11th February 2018 | Beverly Landais

I am proud to be an official speaker at the forthcoming Women Work one-day event which takes place on 20 April at Salomons Estate, Tunbridge Wells, Kent TN3 OTG. I wanted to be a part of Women Work because it enables women of all backgrounds and ages to enjoy the society of others while learning new skills, gaining fresh experiences and reinvigorating their dreams of a better future.

The title of my talk is 'A life of learning: how to achieve your higher potential.' The focus is on what it takes to commit to living a life of learning and discovery, and how this can make you healthier, happier and more connected to others. It explains the neuroscience that makes it possible for the brain to learn new things throughout life. It covers the mindset necessary to support learning new skills. The talk will give value by providing practical tips on how to set goals, get organised and develop the motivation to apply yourself to learning something new.

Read on for more information about the programme of the day at Women Work and for details about how to book a place at this unique event.

About Women Work

Founded by Ania Jeffries, Award Winning Coach in Education 2017, Women Work began as an idea to bring a small group of local women together within a workshop environment to showcase their businesses, maximise their potential and create opportunities for collaboration. Due to a high public interest and demand, this small idea quickly snowballed into a successful event with over 1300 visitors that gave a stage to 51 speakers and 70 workshops.

Women Work aims to lead the way to a brighter future for women from all communities; encouraging them to believe in themselves, support each other, dare to dream big and to be a positive role model to the next generation of young women. It has now re-launched and the next event will be held on 20 April 2018 at Salomons Estate, Tunbridge Wells, Kent TN3 OTG
