People with Ambition is a new event series designed for career-minded professionals working in Professional Services firms. Beverly Landais will give an interactive talk at the first event on 4th April entitled: 'Building a mindset of success'.

Beverly will address psychologist Carol Dweck's claim that success comes from having the right mindset rather than intelligence, talent or education.

Developing a growth mindset of success allows you to make the most of your existing talents and take control of your destiny. It enables you to approach change and challenge with a positive attitude of learning and development. In turn this can help build personal resilience and enable you to bounce back from disappointments more easily.

The great thing about mindset is that you can choose to change it. It isn’t easy and it takes determination and practice to replace old habits but it is possible.

What you will learn during this interactive evening:

·         Differences between a growth mindset vs fixed mindset

·         Identifying your own mindset

·         How to develop a growth mindset and avoid self-sabotage

·         How to get your team to develop a growth mindset and build resilience
