Coaching Style

Coaching is the art of assisting people to understand that they have more options available than they imagine. We choose how we think far more than we appreciate. One of the great challenges about how people can reach the top of their game and sustain that performance is around the idea of choice. Beverly’s practice is designed to meet individual needs and to help people consider their options and choices.

Her coaching style is energising, practical and grounded in business. Her approach is based on trust and mutual respect. Beverly’s practice is focused on helping people to uncover their own solutions by nurturing great thinking. She is non-judgmental and collaborative yet challenging in a way that stretches people beyond their comfort zone. After all it is in the stretch zone that personal development and real growth takes place.

"Coaching helps people break free and builds self-confidence and self-assurance. It can assist in the maturing of attitude and develop resilience"

Barrister, Commercial Chambers

"I have found the coaching very useful as a sounding board and a regular point of contact acting as an aide memoire and/or motivator to try and help keep focus up."

Chartered Financial Plannner, Wealth Management Firm

"I found Beverly’s style to be effective, in that it was left to me to do much of the talking and therefore the ‘answers’ were drawn out from me/in my words rather than being given to me on a plate. Beverly’s open questioning approach was effective. [The sessions] were probably more demanding than I expected, in that I had to think hard during the sessions and I found some questions challenging (although Beverly did warn me that would be the case at the start of the first session)."

Chartered Financial Planner, Wealth Management

"Beverly’s hands-on leadership has revitalized Baker & McKenzie’s marketing model. She is involved in local decision-making and global initiatives and has restructured Baker & McKenzie’s London communications and business development function into an integrated team collaborating with the firm’s lawyers and marketers worldwide."
